1. How do I apply for Muis Halal Certification?
   New halal applications must be made via GoBusiness Dashboard.
2. What are the requirements of Halal application process?
   i. Halal Requirements - All raw materials used must be Halal and substantiated with supporting documents;
   ii. Staffing Requirements - There must be a minimum of 2 or 3 Muslim staff employed in each premises applied for Halal certification; refer to MUIS website for halal team competency requirement;
   iii. System Requirements - The applicant must comply with the 10 principles of the Singapore Muis Halal Quality Management System.
3. How much is the Halal certificate? What are the fees for Halal certification?

   Applicants may visit https://halal.muis.gov.sg/ to view their application status or manage existing halal certifications.
7. What is the average processing time for halal certification?

   Application Type	Average Processing Time*
   New & Renewal	6 weeks (30 working days)
   Amend	2 weeks (10 working days)

   *Processing time starts upon receipt of complete, accurate documentation. It excludes applicant response time and assumes companies are audit-ready upon submission.
